Ok, let's see if I still remember how to write in these things. Well, I'm done with my first year of college. That is so weird to say. It felt like the longest year ever but also the quickest. I think part of it is because I wasn't as connected to home so when I came back it was like I had been in a completely different world and missed everything that happened at home. Everything had changed and to me it felt like it happened overnight cause I was never there. For instance, there is now a chilis next to CHHS, the Albertsons by my house shut down, and my mom got new kitchen floors without telling me! Haha I know all of that sounds stupid, but it kind of threw me for a loop when I saw it. Anyways, this last year has been one of the best of my life. I love the choir I'm in at school and also the fraternity I joined. It's weird, but I went to one of the most liberal/party public schools in the US and became more Christian while I was there. The frat I joined is Christian and joining it was one of the best decisions I made. But don't worry anyone, I'm still mostly the same Scott..I'm not gonna judge people now or feel all high and mighty now, I just have a different personal relationship with God. Anyways, I have made a ton of good friends and I actually can't wait to see them again. One of my friends got me a summer job in Arlington too, which is awesome. I work at Camp Thurman as a day camp counselor and it is a sweet job. I don't get payed that much, but I get to hang out with kids and play outside all day so I don't mind. I have one week off this summer and I think I'm gonna use it to visit Brooke in Illinois so I'm excited about that. Other than that though, I plan on chilling and catching up with some high school friends this summer. Hope everyone else's summers/lifes are going well,

Scott

The picture below is from www.postsecret.com . It's the one that says "i have a learning disability..." and I thought it was inspiring. Have fun reading it.

This is cool.
